The Samoset Rod and Gun Club is a non-profit organization in West Bridgewater that was established in May of 1951. It is a sportsmen's club supporting hunting, fishing, and other environmental dilemmas. We also offer our indoor pistol range and indoor archery range as well. We are also one of the only three clubs in the State of Massachusetts that raises state-supplied pheasants for release during hunting season.
The purpose of this Association is to conserve, restore and manage games, fish, and other wildlife and its habitat in West Bridgewater. We seek better fishing and hunting for sportsmen. We make sure we obtain proper respect and observations of the fish and game law. Most importantly, we provide education, information, and assitance programs that concern the concept of wildlife.
